"Lighting the Way"
In the fall of 2002, the Harbor Beach Hospital Foundation was formed in order to initiate a community driven effort to support the Harbor Beach Community Hospital. The foundation is based upon underlying values that will strengthen the hospital's ability to serve and remain an integral part of the local economy. The foundation provides a secure avenue for community members to support the hospital though tax deductible donations.

Fundraising Events:
The Harbor Beach Hospital Foundation sponsors various fund raising events throughout the year. Donating of your time and talent during one of our fundraisers or attending one of our events are great ways to provide support to our community hospital. Membership:
The foundation recognizes that everyone has a different ability to give of their time, talent, and financial resources. We hope that all community members will consider becoming a sustaining member of the foundation and that those with the means to do so will commit to becoming a member of the founder's circle. Membership Levels:

Sustaining Membership: Community members may become sustaining members of the foundation at various levels. Sustaining memberships are for a calendar year beginning on January 1st.

• • Harbor of Care: $50 annual membership

  • Guardian: $100 annual membership

  • Point of Light: $500 annual membership

  • Beacon: $1000 annual membership

Founder's Circle: Community members may select different circles of recognition in the Founders Circle. The Circle is composed of people who have chosen to give a one-time pledge or gift of money over a period of no longer than 5 years. 

• • Copper: $5,000

  • Brass: $10,000

  • Bronze: $25,000

  • Silver: $50,000

  • Gold: $75,000

  • Platinum: $100,000+

One-Time Donations
"Touch the lives of others today by giving back a portion of the rewards you've received."

Money that is donated to the foundation is used by the hospital for many different projects. These projects vary in expense and volunteer time needed. They are real needs for the hospital and will make a difference in the number of people served, the ease of use of the hospital facilities, and cost effectiveness. Some of the projects are in preparation of new regulations or are related to maintaining the physical plant. Other projects will increase the types of services offered, make new health technology available, and allow the hospital to better serve the community.

A gift to the Harbor Beach Hospital Foundation not only demonstrates your belief in our mission, but also reinforces your commitment to making a difference in the world. Many types of gifts can be made, such as gifts of cash, securities, life insurance, life income and real estate.
